A very light and well-balanced rod, suitable for working wobblers and soft lures around coastal rocks or river mouths when fishing for sea bass or other sea predators. Saltist Bass models are made using HVF nanoplus carbon fibres, additionally reinforced with Daiwa - X45 technology. This makes the rod very slim, light and strong, while its sensitivity is unmistakable. The model is equipped with a hollow tip, giving it a slightly firmer action, ideal when more aggressive lure work is needed or when dealing with trophy fish.

FAQ

What kind of fishing is DAIWA Saltist Bass 2.59 m suitable for?

DAIWA Saltist Bass 2.59 m is a marine spinning rod with test 10-35 g for sea bass, wobblers and silicone lures from rocky shore, mouth or coastal area. Combine Saltist Bass with reel, line and mount that fall within the specified operating range. This keeps the kit in balance and reduces the risk of overloading when casting or guiding.

What are the basic parameters of Saltist Bass?

The implementation is 2.59 m with code STT862HMHFS-AU, two sections, transport length 138 cm and weight 120 g. The working test is 10-35 g. For accurate identification of Saltist Bass, compare the code with the length, operating range, and transport size. The name of the series does not in itself confirm all technical values.

What materials and components does DAIWA use in Saltist Bass?

DAIWA Saltist Bass 2.59 m uses HVF Nanoplus carbon, X45 reinforcement, tube carbon top, Fuji K Alconite guides and split EVA handle. The materials mentioned are only relevant when the assembly is robust and the components are without deformation. Therefore, when viewing, trace the entire line from the handle and reel holder to the last guide. Any loose part should be checked in time.

How do I match Saltist Bass with the rest of the tackle?

Combine the 10-35 g test with the size of the sea lures and the shore conditions, leaving a wind and current control reserve. Combine reel, line and rig with the operating range and expected load. The higher numerical value is not a stand-alone criterion; The balance of the whole set is important. Leave a reasonable reserve in dynamic cast.

What to check before the first outing with Saltist Bass?

Confirm SKU STT862HMHFS-AU and length 2.59 m because different lengths occur in other structural data. Check the alignment of sections and guides, the cleanliness of the joints and the stable grip of the reel. The first bending should be smooth; any crackling, loosening or deformation is a reason not to use the fishing rod. Look again after the sample.

How do I clean and store Saltist Bass?

After fishing with Saltist Bass, remove dirt with a soft damp cloth and dry all sections, guides and snags before harvesting. After contact with salt water, rinse gently the guides, reel holder and exposed parts with clean water and dry before the case. Do not close a wet fishing rod in a dense case and do not leave it bent for long. For next use, check the handle, reel holder, guides and contact areas between sections.
