On a slope, adjust consistently, checking the support after each change. Do not compensate for unevenness with accumulated soft items below, because they can move at night.
The shelter compatibility is checked on the actual usable internal space, not on the impression. Leave a passageway to the entrance and a place for shoes, lighting and the most necessary luggage without blocking the exit. If the bed rests on the walls, moisture on them more easily reaches the sleeping area. The placement should also allow for a relaxed sitting when wearing.
The double-layered sack allows the resting place to remain complete, but the way of use still takes into account the temperature and clothing. Do not add excess layers before you feel the system retain heat on the particular night. Wet clothes are left outside the sleeping area, and small hard objects are removed from pockets so as not to press the mattress.
When collecting, remove the grit and mud, examine the frame and places of loading, then let the mattress and sack air out. Do not close a wet system in the transport luggage for a long time.
